I believe all of us here used sheet masks before, especially it has become a routine thing to keep our skin hydrated and moist. Well, many thought that sheet mask routine is a ‘K-beauty’ thing, but do you know that Japanese Geishas are the first to use sheet mask?

Hundred of years ago, Geishas will gather the scraps of silk leftover from making kimono gowns. Then the Geishas would soak the bits of silk in flower water and rest them on their faces as part of their Geisha skincare routine.

My favourite mask of all time! Bio-cellulose mask is made of 100% natural fiber and good bacteria cultivated in the lab. One of the key feature i love about is the high adhesive power, bio-cellulose mask fits perfectly on our skin without making our skin feel tight or uncomfortable. It makes it easy for me to move around or even exercise with my mask on!

Very similar to bio-cellulose mask, but I do think that the adhesive power of bio-cellulose mask is still the best! Hydrogel masks are suitable for all skin types but they’re especially beneficial for those with dry,  dehydrated or troubled skin. You will feel a cooling sensation when you apply hydrogel mask, this is perfect for those dealing with skin redness or skin inflammation.

Most common & affordable type of sheet mask available in the market. Made with soft white cellulose fabric material, mostly packed with botanical ingredients for functions like soothing, hydrating, calming. If you are new to sheet mask, you can always start with these bunch of beauties!

Each bubble sheet mask contains an ingredient called perfluorocarbons. Oxygen is later pumped into the sheet mask and the mask is then sealed carefully in a pressured packet. The moment you open the packet, the ingredients mix with air and form a thin layer of foam on top of the sheet mask.
